We don't pay for opinion and analysis pieces, but we do compensate for original reporting and data-driven features on a case-by-case basis. Every contributor gets a full byline, bio, and profile page regardless.
Can I republish my article elsewhere?
Yes. We don't require exclusivity for opinion and analysis. You're free to republish your own work elsewhere after a short embargo window, with attribution back to OneFinalDraft.
How long does the review process take?
We reply to every pitch within 5 business days. Once a draft is submitted, editing and publication typically take another 1–2 weeks depending on topic and length.
What should I include in my pitch?
A working headline, a two-to-three sentence summary of your angle, why it matters now, and a line on your relevant background or expertise. Links to previous writing are welcome but not required.
